Project Objectives
Create a Modular Front-End Architecture for CMS Based website build, using Bootstrap 5
This site called for a complex front end due to the size and variability of components on offer via an Umbraco CMS.
A high degree of variation was required to enable the trust to present each Museum site in a different way, but within a common UI theme.
A number of Micro Vue.JS applications were also required for content search facilities.
Project Outcomes
A component driven set of code was delivered, based on Bootstrap 5, that allowed for repeatable blocks to be built, and 'skinned' according to the particular site theme.
Some JavaScript was added for the navigation and interactive elements, as well as a Vue.JS application for content search, fed from a REST API - the repository was delivered to the Umbraco Developers for integration.
